Gamma Phi Beta
For a year, I was the social media manager for my sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. In this role, I developed my photo and video editing skills, social media copywriting, and content creation.
I created a content calendar and strategy to resonate with our target audience of potential new members.
I created a "Dear PNMs" series, where I shared recruitment advice from different members each week leading up to recruitment, including our Membership Vice President.
I also highlighted our five chapter values by showing our members embody each of them, through the eyes of their close friends. This has now become an annual series that recurs each year before recruitment.
This social media management position allowed me to highlight the accomplishments and stories of 70+ women. I developed a strategy specifically for recruitment purposes and increased my sorority's visibility during that crucial time.
